Installation Notes

• Use only the provided power supply with the United Box.
• Do not place the product on an unstable surface.
• Connect all other cables before plugging into the power outlet.
• Avoid overloading outlets or extension cords.
• Replace frayed power cords immediately.
• Keep the power supply accessible for disconnection.
• Ensure all cables are securely connected.
• Keep the device away from moisture and extreme conditions.

Usage Notes

• Keep liquids away from the set-top-box.
• Clean only with dry or damp cloth.
• Disconnect from power if unused for long periods.
• Avoid placing it near heat sources or open flames.
• Do not insert objects into ventilation holes.

Bluetooth Pairing (Auto Mode)

To pair your remote with the United Box:

1. Press and hold Volume Up and Channel Up buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds
2. If pairing fails, ensure the United Box is powered on and within 25 cm of the remote

System Connection

Important: Turn off all devices before making connections.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Connect to TV:
   1. Locate the HDMI port on your TV (usually labeled HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.)
   2. Connect the provided HDMI cable from the United Box HDMI Output to your TV's HDMI input
   3. Note which HDMI port number you used
2. Connect to Power:
   1. Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the United Box rear panel
   2. Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet
   3. The set-top-box will power automatically (power indicator will turn green)
3. Initial Setup:
   1. Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input source using your TV remote
   2. Follow the on-screen setup wizard instructions
   3. Use the remote's directional pad and Select button to navigate menus
4. Connect to Network (choose one method):

For Wired Connection (Ethernet):

1. Plug a network cable into the Ethernet port on the United Box rear panel
2. Connect the other end to your router or modem
3. The LAN indicator light will turn blue when connected

For Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi):

1. Navigate to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi using the remote
2. Select your wireless network name from the list
3. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard
4. The Wi-Fi indicator will turn white when connected

Troubleshooting

No Display Issues

• Verify HDMI cable is securely connected to both United Box and TV
• Confirm TV is set to correct HDMI input source
• Try a different HDMI port on your TV
• Check that TV is powered on and functioning with other devices

No Sound Issues

• Confirm TV volume is turned up and not muted
• Check TV audio settings (some TVs default to internal speakers)
• Test with different content to isolate the issue

Network Connection Issues

• For Ethernet: Verify cable is securely connected and not damaged
• For Wi-Fi: Check signal strength, verify password is correct
• Restart your router/modem by unplugging for 30 seconds
• Move the United Box closer to router if using Wi-Fi

Remote Control Issues

• Not Responding: Replace batteries, ensure correct polarity (+ and - alignment)
• Range Issues: Ensure clear line of sight within 4.5 m of the United Box
• Pairing Problems: Navigate to Settings > Remote > Unpair, then re-pair using Bluetooth instructions above
• Check for interference from other wireless devices

Device Not Powering On

• Verify power adapter is securely connected to both wall outlet and United Box
• Try a different power outlet
• Check that power adapter LED light is on
• If the device still won't start, press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds
