Your Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your domain expertise to collaborate in defining and setting up home gateway networking features, troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered by various teams. 
  • Share knowledge and insights with other teams to ensure alignment and efficiency when working on domain-specific tasks. 
  • Design, develop, and optimize home gateway solutions, ensuring performance, security, and reliability, supporting product managers in defining domain-specific product features and services 
  • Implement advanced networking features, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations. 
  • Work on WiFi functionalities like MIMO, beamforming, and mesh networking to enhance wireless performance. 
  • Integrate and configure support for broadband access technologies (xPON, DOCSIS, DSL, FWA) into gateway solutions to support diverse connectivity options. 
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems. 
  • Develop and implement security measures, including firewall rules, VPN support, and anti-malware features, to safeguard user networks. 
  • Utilize TR-069/USP protocols for device management and enable cloud-based remote configuration and analytics. 
  • Perform rigorous testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues, ensuring top-notch product performance. 
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in networking and broadband solutions. 
What we're looking for:
  • Networking: Proficiency in IP networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT, DNS) with a solid understanding of routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) 
  • WiFi: Expertise in WiFi standards and protocols (MIMO, beamforming, mesh networking) and performance evaluation and optimization. 
  • Broadband Access: Experienced with xPON, DOCSIS, DSL and FWA integration. 
  • Embedded system: Knowledge of embedded system architecture and configuration
  • Security: Strong skills in Firewall, VPN, WPA encryption, parental control, DDoS/malware protection, etc.) 
  • Cloud integration and remote management: Familiarity with TR-069/USP protocols and cloud platforms for remote configuration and analytics 
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Proficient in validating features, ensuring interoperability and resolving network, broadband and security issues 
  • Documentation: Clear technical writing and communication skills for documentation and collaboration. 
Nice to have:
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale home gateway deployments. 
  • Knowledge of IoT and smart home technologies.
