Key responsibilities: Product Management Lifecycle
  • Contribute to the creation of product vision and strategy by researching market trends, user needs, industry trends and competitive landscape, providing insights that inform strategic decisions and roadmap planning
  • Drive product discovery by performing business analysis, identifying user and stakeholder expectations, and validating concepts through user interviews, wireframe reviews, and prototypes.
  • Plan product delivery by bringing business transparency and clarity to the team around product requirements, priorities, and value. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define release plans, set delivery expectations, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage product delivery by creating, maintaining, and refining the product backlog to reflect business goals and customer needs. Ensure continuous alignment with company vision, strategy, and stakeholder objectives. Lead the release process by coordinating release preparation activities, managing stakeholder communications, and overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and readiness.
  • Support continuous product improvement by organizing and promoting ongoing product support, collecting feedback from users and stakeholders, and driving enhancements to product performance and usability.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment by managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, clearly articulating roadmap priorities, delivery status, and the rationale behind key product decisions
  • Encourage Agile collaboration by fostering a team-oriented environment, embracing Agile values and practices, and acting as a business domain expert within the product team.
What are we looking for: Technical Expertise
  • Solid experience in the video delivery domain, specifically related to Android TV-based set-top boxes (STBs)and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) used for delivering linear and on-demand TV services
  • Deep understanding of the Android TV ecosystem, including:
    • Operator Tier environments
    • Leanback Launcher and custom launcher implementations
    • TV Input Framework (TIF) integration
  • Familiarity with middleware components, such as:
    • Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
    • Service orchestration, remote management and metadata integration
    • Widevine CAS and DRM 
    • Integration with back-end TV platforms (CMS, authentication, billing, analytics)
  • Strong hands-on experience with STB hardware and embedded middleware
  • Solid knowledge of video distribution infrastructure, including:
    • Streaming protocols: HLS, MPEG-DASH
    • Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
    • Multicast/unicast architectures and network configuration for real-time video
  • Experience in managing multi-vendor collaborations, including work with OEMs, SoC vendors, middleware suppliers, and integrators.
  • Comfortable coordinating cross-team and inter-company dependencies, especially in large-scale, customer-facing rollouts.
Product Management Skills
  • Experience defining and tracking TV-centric KPIs, such as:
    • Channel switching (zapping) time
    • EPG and feature usage metrics
    • Customer conversion rates
    • Daily active users (DAU), session duration
    • Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer satisfaction
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog, aligned with strategic goals and technical feasibility.
  • Skilled in roadmap planning, coordinating delivery timelines, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design, and operations.
  • Able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, manage ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timelines.
