What you'll have here:
  • In-house products: Working on products that we use every day and have millions of users. Some of them are your friends, neighbours, family members. We are our own clients. Our opinions and experiences are directly shaping the products that we design and create.
  • People: You will work with experts, community leaders and senior engineers who made these products from scratch. They will reveal to you how the whiteboard idea turns into a worldwide platform.
  • Internal learning sessions and innovation challenges: We are an innovation center primarily and you can be part of initiatives, research and focus groups… and don’t miss to take a place in innovation challenges and hackathons.
  • Engineering mindset: We are engineering our solutions from the ground up using open-source tools and customizing them to our needs. We worry about performance, we analyze and observe our system. We are not throwing money at the problem, we actually care if things could be more optimal.
  • Career growth: We strongly believe in feedback culture and development plans.
  • Community: You want to share your knowledge with the community? We are organize meetups and internal workshops. You are more than welcome to participate. If you are not a great speaker, that is also fine.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to define WiFi, RF, and 5G features for broadband Home Gateways and FWA CPE, ensuring performance and security standards.
  • Conduct performance and interoperability testing of WiFi 6/6E/7, RF, and 5G features using tools like CD Router; validate security protocols and network functionalities.
  • Evaluate various devices and WiFi interfaces, benchmarking their performance to identify optimal configurations and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Analyze RF propagation, interference, and network protocols to optimize device performance; support software engineers by troubleshooting domain-specific issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to cross-functional teams on WiFi standards, RF engineering, and 5G integration.
  • Prepare detailed reports on test results, diagnostics, benchmarking, and recommendations, contributing to ongoing product development and improvement.
What we're looking for:
  • WiFi Standards: Expertise in 802.11 a/b/g/ac/ax/be with focus on WiFi 6/6E/7 features like OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and beamforming.
  • RF Engineering: Strong understanding of RF propagation, channel allocation, interference management, and optimization for dense and challenging environments.
  • WiFi Security: Proficiency in WPA, RADIUS, and 802.1x protocols for secure wireless communication.
  • Network Design: Skills in network architecture, capacity planning, and coverage optimization for wireless networks.
  • WiFi Analysis & Diagnostics: Ability to conduct automatic and manual testing, diagnostics, and reporting for WiFi performance and reliability using advanced tools and frameworks like CD Router.
  • Mesh Networking: Knowledge of mesh concepts, roaming, and multi-node compatibility.
  • Network Protocols: Proficient in TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and QoS
  • 5G Protocols and Standards: Familiarity with 3GPP standards (NR, Release 15+) and their impact on CPE design, particularly for hybrid 5G-WiFi environments.
  • Remote Management: Experienced in using TR-069/USP protocols for remote device management and OTA updates.
Nice to have:
  • 5G-WiFi Integration: Understanding of 5G and WiFi coexistence, dual-connectivity, and intelligent traffic offloading between 5G and WiFi networks.
  • Interoperability: Ensuring seamless communication between WiFi modules and 5G
