Product Safety Notice

EON United Box has been manufactured to meet international safety standards, but you must take care to operate it safely.

Installation notes:

  • Use only the power supply provided together with the EON Box to operate the unit.
  • Do not place the product on an unstable surface.
  • Do not connect the EON Box to the power supply unit before you have properly connected the other leads.
  • Do not overload the wall outlet or the extension cords as this may increase the risk of electric shock of fire.
  • If the power cord is frayed, replace the power supply. 
  • The power supply must be easily accessible to disconnect from the mains.
  • Make sure that all electrical cords are properly connected.
  • Do not expose the EON Box to moisture.
  • Do not put any heavy devices on your EON Box.
  • Do not use or store the EON Box in hot, cold, damp, or dusty places.

Using notes:

  • Do not put anything in the EON Box which might spill into it.
  • The EON Box may only be cleaned using dry or damp cloth. Direct contact with water or with other fluids (solvents) to be avoided.
  • Disconnect your EON Box from the mains if you will not be using it for a long time.
  • Do not place the EON Box near the heat source.
  • Do not open the EON Box or the power supply. Risk of electric shock.
  • Do not place any metal objects into ventilation holes.
  • Do not put open flame sources, such as candles on top of the device.

Hardware Structure (From left to right)

  • Front Panel: Standby On/Off, Power Indicator, WiFi Indicator, LAN Indicator
  • Left Side Panel: Micro SD, USB1, Reset, USB2
  • Rear Side Panel: RF IN, S/PDIF, HDMI Output, Ethernet, DC IN

Remote Control

The blind spots are located on the Number Key 5 and the D-pad up/down/left/right buttons. The remote control layout, described from left to right and top to bottom, is as follows:

Part one: Select STB Control, STB Power

Part two: Digit 1~Digit 9, EON Search, Digit 0, Exit

Part Three: Electronic Program Guide, Video on Demand, Radio

Part Four (Indented circular tactile area): Menu Up, Menu Left, Menu Select, Menu Right, Menu Down

Part Five: Back, Home, Profile

Part Six: STB Volume Up, EON, STB Channel Up, STB Volume Down, Voice1, STB Channel Down

Part Seven: Rewind, Play / Pause, Fast Forward

Part Eight: Teletext, All Apps, Record

Part Eight: Red F1, Green F2, Yellow F3, Blue F4

 

Bluetooth Pairing (Auto Mode)

Step 1: Press Volume Up and Channel Up buttons together for 10 seconds.

System Connection

Please refer to the following instructions to connect TV, Power, Network and other devices.

Note: Please turn off all equipment before connecting (such as TV Box and TV power)

Step1: Connection with TV 

Connect HDMl cable to HDMl port of the TV box and TV set.

Step 2: Connection with Power

Connect the power adapter to the TV box. After power is on, it can start automatically.

Step 3: Set up your device

Follow the on-screen to set up your device.

Step 4: Connection with network

The TV box supports both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections

  • Ethernet: Use the Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port of the EON Box and the port of the home broadband network.
  • Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network & key in the password.

Troubleshooting

  • No display after power on? Confirm your device is connected to the TV well and set the correct HDMI input from your TV configuration.
  • TV has images but no sound? Make sure your TV is not in mute and low volume.
  • Fail to connect to the network? Make sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected. Make sure Wi-Fi is functional and your box has a strong enough signal from your router.
  • Remote control failure?
    Replace the battery of the remote control with a new one, and make sure it is placed in the correct polarity.
    Make sure the remote control is within the range of the EON Box.
    Go to the Settings menu to unpair and re-pair the remote control.
