One of the hottest places to be this year is definitely Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference held in San Jose, California. Thousands of developers from all over the world are part of it every year, so they could have a brilliant opportunity to meet Apple engineers and attend various workshops and development sessions. We were honored to have a chance to be there, and extremely excited to share with you our biggest impressions.
First of all, we were blown away by the impeccable organization. Everywhere we went there were members of staff giving us a very warm welcome. Useful information was all around the place, from halls, tv screens to conference app where you had a detailed schedule of sessions. We also had the option to book a meeting with other Apple developers to discuss everything that was said at the conference, as well to talk about the problem we are currently working on and get the other point of view. How cool is that?!
Imagine you have the opportunity to get to know among the firsts all the major announcements, from people who work in Apple and people who actually work on their products. This year presented us updated versions of iOS, including brand new iPadOS developed specifically for iPad. New features and capabilities were also presented macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Participants of the conference also had the exclusive opportunity to see the preview of the new Mac Pro and Apple Pro Display XDR, that will be launched this fall. And honestly, we can’t wait to see all these novelties launched!
So, is it really worth all the hype? Without any hesitation YES! Apart from the amazing feeling to be there on the sight and participate in the talks we used to watch online, one of the greatest benefits is the opportunity to spread network of contacts, meet peers from all over the world, exchange experiences and learn from each other.
